Wordless tales of the world: 'Where Children Sleep'

I'm astounded by children from around the world - astounded by where they come from, by who they're becoming, and by how many different ways there are to grow up.

Photographer James Mollison was asked to do a project on children's rights. Remembering how important his childhood room was to his own upbringing, he took his camera around the world and photographed children - each one on a neutral background, and then photographed the child's sleeping area. Without a word, Mollison's  astounding pictures tell us volumes about the world's children and how they live.

Where Children Sleep, a book of Mollison's incredible photos, is available at ChrisBoot.com
